Stacking Cards

Stacking Cards, also known as Sticky Cards, is a custom Gutenberg block introduced in StyleCloud plugin version 1.8.3.


This block is built specifically for the WordPress Gutenberg editor and is not compatible with page builders such as Elementor or Divi.



Requirements
  1. Install and activate the StyleCloud plugin (v1.8.3 or later)
  2. If the plugin is already installed, update it to the latest available version (minimum v1.8.3)
  3. If the update is not available in your WordPress dashboard, you can re-download the plugin from your StyleCloud account and reinstall it over the existing version (no need to uninstall first)
  4. Set the block background color to match the site’s background color
  5. Set an individual background color for each card, also matching the site’s background color


How it works
  1. Open the page you want to edit in WordPress
  2. In the Gutenberg editor click the “+” (Add Block) button
  3. Search for StyleCloud in the block library
  4. Select the Sticky Cards block


Features & possibilities


Each card can contain any type of content, including images, text, buttons, or any other Gutenberg element.


The block also provides several layout and behavior controls:

  • Adjust the sticky spacing between each card
  • Set the top offset, defining when the sticky effect begins
  • Choose the screen size breakpoint where the sticky behavior is disabled (useful for improving usability on mobile devices)
  • Each element added inside the block retains the same options available outside the block (i.e. Gutenberg Image)
