How to Add a Typed Text Effect for Your StyleCloud Website

Typed Text feature animates your text so that it looks like it’s being typed out in real-time. This effect works well in headers, call-to-action areas, or any text block where you want to highlight multiple messages engagingly. Ideal for hero sections, intros, or call-to-action areas, this effect adds motion and personality to your StyleCloud site without needing complex code. Customize typing speed, loop behavior, cursor style, and more to match your design needs.


How to Add Typed Text


Step 1:

  • Add a Text Adv element or Paragraph
  • Type the first message you want to show and select the text


Step 2: Access the Typed Text Option

  • In the toolbar (usually above the block/element), look for and arrow and press on it.
  • Scroll down until you will see the Typed Text option
  • Click on the Typed Text toggle to enable it.



Step 3: Enter Your Typed Text Phrases

  • Once enabled, you will see a field to enter the different phrases you want typed out in sequence.
  • Add multiple phrases separated by commas or each on a new line.
  • It will automatically animate typing through these phrases, one after the other.



Customize the Typed Text Settings


  • Typing speed — how fast each character types out.
  • Backspace speed — how fast it deletes.
  • Loop — whether the animation repeats.
  • Cursor — toggle on/off and customize the blinking cursor style.


Style Your Typed Text


Use Text settings on the right side of page to style the text color, font size, weight, and spacing to fit your site design perfectly.
