# How to Import a StyleKit into Your StyleCloud Site

Want to give your StyleCloud website a fresh new look without starting from scratch? That’s where **StyleKits** come in. Whether you are going for bold and modern or clean and minimal, importing a StyleKit is the fastest way to transform your site's appearance. In this article, we will walk you through how to import a StyleKit into your StyleCloud project and start customizing your design in minutes.

A **StyleKit** is a collection of design settings that apply a consistent visual style across your website. It typically includes:
* Color palette
* Font pairings
* Button styles
* Header and footer layout design (the content remains the same)

### How to Download a Style Kit from Stylecloud

To get started, you'll need access to your Stylecloud account. Here's how to download your desired Style Kit:
* **Log in** to your Stylecloud account dashboard.
* Click on **“Your Themes + Stylekits”**.
* Then click on the **“Stylekits”** tab.
* Browse through the available kits and click **Download** on your preferred Style Kit.
* The file will download as a `.dat` file to your computer.

### How to Upload a Style Kit into Kadence Theme

After downloading your Style Kit, follow these steps to import it into your WordPress website:
* Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
* Go to **Appearance > Customize**.
* Scroll to the bottom and click on **Import/Export** (this is part of the Kadence Customizer tools).
* Click the **“Choose File”** button.
* Select the `.dat` file you downloaded from Stylecloud.
* Click **“Import”** to apply the Style Kit to your theme.

Important note: Before uploading a new Style Kit, **we highly recommend exporting your current style**. Simply click the **“Export”** button in the same Import/Export panel to save your existing settings as a backup.
