How to Add an Instagram Feed to Your StyleCloud Website

Adding an Instagram feed to your StyleCloud site is a great way to showcase your latest social content and boost engagement. Using the Smash Balloon plugin you can easily create a stylish, responsive Instagram feed in just a few steps. 

1. Install and Activate the Smash Balloon Plugin

First, install the Smash Balloon plugin from your WordPress dashboard:

• Go to Plugins > Add New.
• Search for “Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed”.
• Click Install Now, then Activate.
• This will add a new menu item in your WordPress admin called Instagram Feed.

2. Create a New Feed

Once the plugin is active, it’s time to create your first Instagram feed:

• Go to Instagram Feed > All Feeds.
• Click Add New.
• Choose the type of feed you want (Personal or Business account).
• Click Next.

3. Connect Your Instagram Account

Next, you need to connect your Instagram account:

• Click on Add Source.
• Log in to your Instagram account and approve the connection.
• Select your account from the list and continue.

4. Customize Your Feed

Once your feed is connected, Smash Balloon will guide you through customizing the appearance:

• Choose a layout (grid, carousel, etc.).
• Adjust settings like number of posts, image size, spacing, colors, and more.
• Use the live preview to see how your feed will look on your site.

5. Copy the Shortcode and Place It Where You Need

After you're happy with your feed:

• Click Embed.
• Copy the shortcode
• Paste this shortcode anywhere on your site – in pages, posts, widgets, or Kadence blocks.
