# 4.1 Checking Your Current Website Size

Before you choose your hosting plan, it’s helpful to know how much space your current website is using.
Don’t worry — this sounds more technical than it is. You’re just looking for a number (in GB), and we’ll show you exactly where to find it.

### **What You’re Looking For**

You’re trying to find:
* **Total disk usage** (or “storage used”)
* Measured in **MB **or** GB**

👉 As a rough guide:
* **Under 5GB** → You’re absolutely fine on the 10GB plan
* **5–10GB** → Still fine, but keep an eye on growth
* **10GB+** → Go for the 20GB plan
