3.3.4. How to add images on a page?

1. Add from StyleCloud library


If you have imported a block or a template from the StyleCloud library, and you want to replace an image, we do not suggest removing since this will remove all its styling (i.e. custom aspect ratio, padding, alignment, border, border radius, etc). Instead you could simply replace the image.



2.1. Add from Kadence elements

If you want to add a new image from scratch, then we suggest using Kadence Image elements that are always blue color. 




2.2. How to edit aspect ratio to an image

  • Select your Image Adv element from View list
  • In the right-hand element settings, in the General area, scroll to the image settings
  • Look for the Aspect Ratio dropdown
  • Choose from presets (e.g., 16:9, 4:3, 1:1) or set a custom ratio



  • In the right-hand element settings, in the General area, scroll to the link settings.
  • Paste your URL or you can search for existing page from your site
  • Toggle on Link Image and choose whether the link opens in a new tab
  • Make sure to press submit



2.4. How to add border and border radius to an image 

  • In the right-hand element settings, in the Style area 
  • Go to the border settings in the block controls
  • Choose a border style (solid, dashed, dotted)
  • Adjust border width and color
  • You can apply different borders for each side (top, right, bottom, left)
  • Still in border settings, find the Border Radius field
  • You can adjust each corner independently




3. How to add background image 

Images can be added as background images for sections and row layout. This method is used to create a cover block. 


One single background image:

  • Select the Row Layout element
  • In Style section on the right in the Background Settings
  • Choose “Classic” as the background type
  • Click Select Image to upload or choose from the media library



Multiple background images: 

  • For this method you can add one or multiple images which will create a slider vibe. 
  • Select the Row Layout or Section block.
  • In Style section on the right in the Background Settings, 
  • Choose “Slider” as the background type.
  • Click Select Image to upload or choose from the media library. You will be able to select how many images you want for background slider.
